A customized bouquetry

Peak season runs from mid-January to mid-June and naturally brings challenges, Kim explains. These include managing multiple business locations and the hustle and bustle of logistics. However, she makes sure everything runs like clockwork. From barcodes to stickers and from packaging to wrapping the flowers. Kim communicates daily with the sales and operations departments to coordinate flower and bouquet orders for the upcoming period.

“My passion for flowers began when I was a little girl standing in the market with my mother.”
– Kim Vegelin-Fontaine, Production Team Leader

Flowers and logistics come together

During peak season, the team processes an impressive 600,000 stems per week. Think peonies, lavender and all kinds of dried flowers. Flexibility and a scalable team are essential to meet this demand. According to Kim, teamwork is the key to success in her bouquet business. Her fantastic team is indispensable in fulfilling their orders and goals. Sustainability awareness is also growing within the bouquet business.
