ART Collection: colors and contrasts

Each flower in the ART Collection is carefully selected and treated with attention. Quality Colors begins by dyeing each flower in a single, deep color to create a uniform base. Then they are sprinkled with a contrasting hue to form unique patterns and textures. This careful process results in dynamic bouquets that highlight the natural beauty of dried flowers.

An abundance of variety

Quality Colors offers an extensive selection in the ART Collection. From subtle to striking flowers, we have something for everyone. For example, discover our Bougainvillea, Cardistella, Cynara and Palm Spear varieties. Each variety has its own unique charm and appearance. Our assortment includes an array of color combinations and flower shapes, giving you endless opportunities to enhance your assortment with beautiful dried flowers.

The double coloring process of dried flowers

At Quality Colors, dried flowers are sown each year around the beginning of March and harvested at the end of May. During this time, the different varieties trickle in daily until the end of August. The drying process is vital; each flower is carefully hung on carts and dried quickly at the right temperature. The duration of drying varies from flower to flower, depending on thickness and texture.

After drying comes a crucial step: the coloring process. In this process, the dried flowers are treated twice. First, they are dyed in a single deep color to create a uniform base. Next, they are sprinkled with a contrasting shade, creating unique patterns and textures. These coloring steps are carefully done with eco-friendly, water-based dyes to preserve the natural look of the flowers.
