Flower trends for spring
Kristina shares with us her views on trends in ornamental horticulture for spring 2024:
- Wild & Natural
Florists creatively mix flowers with different types of herbs and plants . They use unique and rare species, unusual combinations and unexpected elements such as berries, wildflowers and bows. - Minimalism
Mono-floral arrangements are one of the trends for 2024. This involves using different varieties of one flower to create minimalist textures that give a sense of volume. - Veggies
Flower arrangements include everything from garlic and eggplant to asparagus and mushrooms. Table decoration has certainly reached a new level, with food, dishes, textiles, flowers and vases all serving as works of art. - Sustainability
Not just a trend, but the most important direction in the floral industry. An eco-friendly approach in all aspects: alternative working methods without the use of floral foam, use of seasonal flowers from local farmers, support of local markets, organic flowers, recyclable packaging and much more. - Colors
Summer promises to bring an explosion of vibrancy, showcasing the rich palette of next year’s floral design!
