Daily Sunshine grows four unique varieties of sunflowers: Sunrich Provence, Sunrich Premier Up Gold, Marley and Ziggy. Of these varieties, Sunrich Provence is the largest variety with about 280,000 units per season. The other varieties, totalling 70,000, add rich variety to their offerings. Each variety has its own charm and adds to the diversity of the range. Their focus on quality and attention to detail set them apart in the world of flowers.
Nursery on the move
Daily Sunshine now grows its sunflowers in the field, rather than in the greenhouse as it used to do. Although they previously used the greenhouse to speed up the growing process, conditions are different now. The wet weather has slowed down their work, so they now need 10 to 12 days to clear a field instead of the usual week. Despite these challenges, Daily Sunshine remains determined to grow the finest sunflowers, with a focus on quality and sustainable solutions.
From vegetables to sunflowers
Daily Sunshine started by growing vegetables and later switched to lilies. They further refined their focus to growing the sunflower. Now they specialise in four different varieties of sunflowers.
